My name is Blake Johnson. I’m a 27 year old makeup artist living in Atlanta. My passion for makeup started at a very young age and started my career as a professional makeup artist at only 15.
Starting off my self taught career doing Homecoming makeup in my mothers living room to servicing celebrity clientele such as: Millie Bobby Brown, Lady Kitty Spencer for Dolce & Gabbana, Kim Zolciak-Biermann and family (just to name a few). Outside of well known clients, I have years of direct artistry training with cosmetic brands such as Urban Decay, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and Make Up Forever.
Within my time as an artist, I’ve really found my niche of creating an untraceable, natural looking complexion… even when full coverage may be needed. Pairing this fresh complexion with a bold, wearable eye or lip is “Makeup By Blake Johnson” and has led me to booking global retailers like Zara, StitchFix, Belk, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Macy’s, Ulta Beauty, Sephora US and Sephora Canada. Not only retailers but also landing inside my dream magazines; Glamour (USA, UK, Spain, Germany and Mexico) and British Vogue.
I’ve been in this industry for nearly ten years now and I’m beyond excited to see where the next ten, fifteen or even twenty will lead.
